Hettie Scribble down your wishes and they may come true.
Some people say their wishes out loud but don’t have much luck in the end

Hettie puts the pen and paper back in Verity’s hands.

If you want your wish to work, then it may drive you berserk but a pen and piece of paper are your
friend.
Some folk may wish on a clover’s green leaves or pluck out an eyelash and blow
They’ll pray to the gods and cross fingers and toes it’s sad but it seems they don’t know.

There’s a little bit of magic found in everything we see,
From riverbank to lovely willow tree.

And if you write your wishes down they may come true.

Hettie takes the pen and paper and gives them back to Verity. She leads Verity around the
room as she sings, convincing her of the value of her words.

Some people wish off the top of their heads without really thinking it through
